Get paid for opening a bank account!

I already wrote some time ago, that banks are the ones who should be paying you.

Well – they do. If you Open a Chase CheckingSM account using the promotion in the link, Chase will give you $100.

Make sure to read the fine print: you must deposit $100 as an opening deposit, and either use your new debit card 5 times or have a direct deposit activity during the first two months. Also, make sure you know how to avoid fees on this account (from what it says in the promotion it’s either 5 debit purchases or a direct deposit, monthly).

Another bank who’s willing to pay you to become its customer is ING Direct. The bank gives $50 to any new checking client that completes 3 signature-based debit purchases within the first 45 days. The account is free unconditionally (but be sure to understand the meaning of not having the “traditional” checks).

Enjoy your banking,
