So you received a gift card to a store you never go to. Now what?

Happens to everyone, I guess, that you get a gift, and the gift is a giftcard at some place you never heard of… So what do you do?

Well, it’s not all lost.

If you want to recover at least some of the gift card balance, you can sell it. The opions are of course the usual suspect (eBay, Amazon Marketplace, Craigslist), and also this site:

Gift Card Exchange.

As opposed to the others, the Gift Card Exchange is dedicated for selling and buying unwanted gift cards, and you can sell yours (and buy, if you want one for less of the face price) reliably.

The site also allows donating unwanted gift cards to the charity organisation of your choice, which is a nice perk.

Good to know.
