I don’t know how about you, but I find it frustrating to fight a small war with my PC when I need to print out some web page.
Usually, what I need to print out is the main portion of the article, but it would usually be text.
What I get printed is usually the text I want, with all the ads and images and menus and banners and headers and footers – that I don’t want. What should I do?
So, apparently I’m not the only one frustrated from all that. A couple of folks in Des Moines, Iowa, decided that enough is enough. So what did they do?
The developed “PrintWhatYouLike” web site. It does what is says it does – let you print what you like. And save you paper and ink on the way.
With the help of this site, you can choose exactly what part of a web site to print, and get only that part printed. Not only that, but it also allows you to reformat the content, remove unneeded items (like buttons, links, etc), and resize it to fit the page better.
No more wasting paper on advertisements you don’t want. No more wasting ink on banners that you have no interest in.
Choose what you like to print – and print what you like. Thanks guys!
