Students beware: Microsoft will not let you study next year!

And it’s not because they think that everyone is supposed to be a college drop-out like the company’s founder Bill Gates, no.

It’s just because they want to give you presents.

What is the present they’re giving this year?

Well, starting of today,  a student (with a valid .edu email address) that buys a PC from certain on-line stores can get a free XBox.

Really.

Any student that buys a Windows 7 PC priced $699 and more can get a free XBox 360 4GB console. The participating stores are Dell.com, HP.com and Microsoft.com. Also, you can get the same deal at Best Buy stores, where you’ll have to present your student ID (instead of the .edu email for the online retailers).

So although I’m not a great fan of Microsoft (or Windows OS), I think it’s a pretty good deal.

Get ready to waste your nights with the new XBox!
